Theatre festival - Festival anglického divadla
I saw two plays at the festival. One was in English, called "Split Decision" and the other one was a Russian fairy tale about pulling a beetroot out of the ground. I really liked it, I think they had really funny costumes and even though I barely understood a word, I still was able to figure out what was happening. (The English one was good too, but I felt like they chose a too complicated play. To be honest I don't think most of the people understood the storyline correctly.)
And I also feel like some people were mumbling and that didn't help us understand it either. And on the other hand there were people who were speaking clearly and loudly. And at the end I feel like what matters the most is that they had fun preparing the play for us and that we enjoyed it too even if not all of us understood it.

The theater festival at our school is a long anticipated event where students can show their talents and skills in acting. Students of the 8th grade were working tirelessly to prepare for the festival, remembering their lines and designing their costumes. The name of this festival was Split decision, it was about a girl who loves acting but has a really poor memory, causing her a lot of problems and unpleasant situations.
Personally when I was watching the festival I didn't get what it was about, until one of my classmates filled me in. The story was taking place in two different timelines, in one of them she decided to help a boy that had fallen down in the school halls and in the other one she didn't.
I must say that I admire the memory of the students because I couldn't remember even a quarter of the performance!
